Classic scenes from Christmas movies (#1)

Here’s a fantastic clip, with fabulous acting by the little girl (Makenzie Vega), from the 2000 film The Family Man.  It displays the “sky’s the limit” creativity of little kids as well as their “arms wide open” acceptance of the “other.”

The Family Man belongs to the “What if I had led a different life?”, immortalized by Jimmy Stewart’s It’s a Wonderful Life.  With great performances by Nicolas Cage, Tea Leoni and Don Cheadle it’s probably one of the most underrated Christmas movies.  (Be sure to check http://www.imdb.com for content before viewing.)

  1. I can remember seeing “family man” for the first time years ago. It didn’t get much attention but I can remember really loving it. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane! I’m going to find it and watch it again!

P.S. It was also one of those movies where I began to see how doing something even as simple as selling tires can be used for kingdom building. Good stuff! Merry Christmas Friend!
